My own Dugal McQueen was one of the Scotch Highlander's defeated at Preston, Eng,in 1715,attwmpting to put the Catholic,James, on the British throne. And he was also sold at Baltimore in 1716 as a P.O.W.. He,too,in 1743,bought lands in what, then, was Prince George Co,Md,[ now,Westminster,Md. And,somebody answered correctly that Hampshire Co WV had never been Pa, but did not mention, that at Hancock,Md, Hampshire Co lies within 2 miles of Hampshire Co. And "they say" that just north of Hancock,Md,in the Big Cove of s Pa, it is said my Thomas McQueen was killed by Indians,Nov 1763. On Mon, 28 Aug 2000 07:38:50 -0700 "John C.
