    3. For those who want to know more about the 250th anniversary celebrations in Hampshire County, the January 21 issue of the Hampshire Review gave a general schedule of events (not included in the online version). If you visit Romney in 2004, be sure to visit the Hampshire County Library to see the numerous historical and cultural displays. A different theme will be presented every month. The topic for January is Early Settlers. Many events are scheduled, one of which will be the 250 birthday celebration on May 1st. http://www.hampshirereview.com/ If you are really into Hampshire County research of your ancestors, and want to know more about the area, I suggest that you consider a 1-year subscription to the Hampshire Review. It is a weekly publication that costs only $34.13 for a one-year subscription or $20.90 for six months. A weekly column is being devoted to 2004, explaining the coming events. Reporters will then cover the major events with stories in the newspaper. Here is a link that will facilitate your subscription online. http://www.hampshirereview.com/subscribe.htm Due to other priorities, I am not able to provide ongoing reports on the festivities, but will periodically post information on major events. I have no official capacity nor responsibility for this role. Wilmer L. Kerns
