It is a weekly publication that costs only $34.13 for a one-year subscription or $20.90 for six months. A weekly column is being devoted to 2004, explaining the coming events. Reporters will then cover the major events with stories in the newspaper. Here is a link that will facilitate your subscription online. I would also suggest looking into the Hampshire History which is only $15.90 for two years subscription.....it's a quarterly report full of days of the past. Also.......the Hampshire Review is placing on the back page each week a page from past newspapers. So far, it has been a jackpot full of genealogical information! I personally wrote the paper and thanked them for doing this and told them that I would hope they would consider keeping up the practice. The page they post correlates with that day in time.......Jan 7th paper had Jan 7, 1920 and Jan. 14th had Jan. 14, 1948. Should get my Jan. 21st paper today since it didn't make it in yesterdays mail. I look forward to getting it each week. I started getting the paper Aug. 2001 to keep up with obits but also find marriage, anniversary, births, etc. It's an inexpensive and delightful investment for me. Small town papers can be informative. I highly recommend it. Kathy Heare Watts, Sevierville, TN
