Wayne, Go due north out of Levels and stay on Rt. 5-7. French's Station is shown as the town of 'South Branch' on your map, I believe; it is known by both names on today's US Geological Survey maps although there is virtually nothing left of the town that 'may' have been a trading post along the Potomac River in the early 1700's. There are a lot of postings about this area in the archives, from discussions under 'South Branch' and 'French's Station' subjects, primarily during the year 2000 as I can best recall today. Although the cemeteries immediately north of Levels (or off Rt. 5-7 to its west near the So. Br. River) 'may' have sufficed for those who lived in/near South Branch, I should think this little settlement or town would have had its own cemetery at some time during its existence. Or, maybe there were small family cemeteries since no church apparently existed there??? Neil McDonald ----- Original Message ----- From: "R.
