    3. Hello to everyone who is looking for info on these people. I am new to the list, but it looks like I started something (great !) A few weeks ago I was checking on the rootsweb message board for McBride when I came across Linda from Indiana who was doing research on McBride's from Hampshire Co. WV. I took a chance an emailed her. What a great chance ! Linda and I connected. Her great great grandmother Susan Rebecca McBride and my great great grandmother (Lydia "Jane" Rainey) were sisters. So, any of the info that you have just recieved on John D. Miller and the Rainey's from Clearfield Co. Pa. came from me, Linda must have passed it on, which is OK with me, that is what this is all about ! I will be glad to help any of you out with what I have. The story goes that Jane and her father went to Hampshire Co. to take care of some sick relatives, (small pox, we think) I see from the posting that another daughter of John D. Miller died there also, Lilly, another missing link. I wa! s searching Wayne's cemetery postings (which I think is one of the best I have seen) and I found Edward B. Miller born 1855 and died 1936 and his wife (?) Emma L. Miller born 1876 died 1909. They are buried in the Russell Cem. in Levels. With this many people looking for info on these people we should be able to come up with something. To anyone who recieved Susan Bailey Miller's death certificate, her mother's maiden name is spelled Pinnich, I found out it is Pennock, they came from the Chester Co. area of Pa. Chester Co. Pa. Historical Society has family histories on the Bailey's and Pennock family, the books are very old, the will not photo copy them, you have to go to their library to look at them. If any of you are close to Chester Co. Pa. I have yet to get there. Nadene Ohio
