    2. My Long ancestors lived in Burlington in mid-1800's. Is that the same as the current Burlington Junction about 7 miles from Romney? Thanks. Diane Long

    3. 6-7 miles west of Romney is a location named Junction (sometimes referred to as Moorefield Junction) where US 220 heads south from US 50. An additional 3 miles on US 50 to the west brings you to the village of Burlington. Here County Route 11 proceeds south. On this road about 13-14 miles south is another intersection (near Medley) that is referred (Civil War times) to as the Moorefield Junction. George M.
