Hi Emolene, I too, am interested in your McCauleys (many spellings) and Kerns (various spellings.) Have you found your McCauley spelled McCullough, McCully, McColly, Cully, etc? I am searching for a male McCullough, etc, who married a Hannah Unknown in Shenandoah County VA in 1810. The only child I know of is Elizabeth Ann "Betsy",born @ 1816. This McCullough male would be my ggg-grandfather. Do your McCauley's have any connections to Shenandoah County? Also, I have a Kerns or Kernes, etc. family in Fauquier County. William Kernes married Martha Kingcart. William Kernes is said to have been a doctor. He died in 1802. Among the Kernes' children was a daughter Elizabeth, who married first, Benjamin Horton, then Jacob Stadler. William and Martha (Kingcart) Kernes were my gggg-parents. By the way, how is it going with the cut & paste? Thanks for any information you may have to share. Lynnie Sager [email protected]
