Le Hue, James Huston, Peter Lehew of Front Royal, Virginia and Some of his Descendants Elburn, Ill.: unknown, 1967 This book states that Peter Lehew and Frances (Allen) were the parents of Spencer, who died in 1802, probably in Frederick Co. VA. He was probably born in the 1730s, possibly in Prince William Co. VA. His wife's name is said to be Ann Foley and they were reported to be md. in 1762. Some Frederick Co. records refer to a wife of Spencer as Nancy. (He had a son named Spencer who was md. to a Nancy but not until about the time of his father's death.)
