Hampshire and Frederick County Friends, I am looking to correspond and obtain additional information on the SHANHOLTZER and SNYDER (German) lines of my Mother-in-Law, Mary Ellen Snyder-Long (Born 1941) of Fort Ashby, WV (Mineral County). Many of them are buried in Levels Cemetery, Levels, WV. Specifically, I would like to know who her 2nd GGM, Elizabeth Shanholtzer's (1832-1913) (m. John R. Durst) parents, grandparents etc. are. Also, who her 2GGF, Frederick Snyder's (1828-1908) parents, grandparents are....see below. Thank you in advance for any assistance provided As a side note, my father, William H. Park, has purchased Dr. Wilmer Kerns' book, "Shanholtzer History and Allied Families Roots in Hampshire County, W.VA and Frederick County, VA", which includes eleven generations of desc. of Johannes Schoenholtzer, the German immigrant who settled in Chester Co., Pa, in 1727 and 223 pictures, most of which represent the earlier generations of people born 1792-1900. I have not received it yet in the mail, but hoping that some of those ancestors below are included in the book.
