Many of us on the list have this book of Dr. Kerns'. I purchased it from the publisher, Heritage Books, Inc., in Bowie, Md., and I didn't pay anything near $37 for it. This book, as well as others by Dr. Kerns, can also be purchased directly from him. I'm not sure of the present price (one should contact him directly), but I believe it is decidedly less than $37.
