<<Which ship and voyage was it? Eda>> Michael Neff and Michael Kohr both arrived in Philadelphia aboard the James Goodwill on 11 September 1728. The ship sailed from Rotterdam, Holland, which was a common point of departure for Germans. Rotterdam is located near the mouth of the Rhine River; Germans used the river to travel from the interior regions to the coast.
