    3. Brown, Jacob, Brown's Miscellaneous Writings upon a Great Variety of Subjects prepared and written from 1880 to 1895. Cumberland, Md., Printed by J.J. Miller, 1896 No genealogical info here, but thought you might be interested in the reference and location. The book says that Jacob REEL was one of the jurors in a murder trial in Oct. 1843 in Allegany Co., MD. The defendant was Wm. Crise. The crime was described as a "dark and foul" one.
