    3. Many of us have various resources that we're more than willing to use, to help people with their own research, but you need to include some dates with your names. ALL genealogical resources are limited to certain timeframes, and without some idea from you when your family members lived we would have NO idea of where to look for them. For any query, 3 elements are completely necessary 1) a complete name, both sur and given 2) a geographic location 3) some sort of date, even if approximate. 3. Looking for Andy - Odda - Oddey - Aubrey Merritt in Mill Creek Hampshire VA/WV. Oddey is in 1810 census for that county and it looks like quite a few in the household. Andy Merritt b. about 1795 and possibly wife, Lydia, and sons Adam and Jacob, at least. They were in 1850 census there. Need the parents of Andy/Oddey, who may or may not be the same person. I'm researching John Merritt, b. 1785 and Adam Merritt, b. 1787 who migrated to Coshocton OH and to Clinton IN. Bios for grandsons of Adam Merritt say their grandfather "lived and died in Hardy Co., VA and was a Rev. War Patriot."
