Can anyone recommend a for-hire researcher to look up a couple of estate papers at the Hampshire Co. Courthouse? Thanks!
If that doesn't work out, another (cheap) option, if you live near a town, is to order the records on microfilm from the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City--they have branches in most towns. It costs about $3.25 and it's available at the branch for you to look at for 5 weeks (renewable, too). Go to http://www.familysearch.org, click on Family History Library, then Catalog, then Place search--put in Hampshire, [part of] West Virginia. I think virtually all the courthouse records for this county have been microfilmed.
