Greetings one and all, I have updated again tonight to the website. This will be the last update for the night. First I have added the Powelson Family Cemetery. There are many people in the cemetery with the name of Powell, but the first buried there were individuals with the last name of Powelson. http://members.citynet.net/rwayne/hampco/powell1.htm I would like to make a comment and your help at this time. From time to time I come to a cemetery, and I call the name of the cemetery with the name of the first person that I find buried there. Sometimes this is correct to call it that, but at times, the cemetery is called something else. So don't feel bad if you think you need to email me to correct this. I would rather have the name what it should be. So please email with your comments. The next is the Loy Family Cemetery, near Northriver Mills. http://members.citynet.net/rwayne/hampco/loy.htm That is it for tonight. Greetings one and all, The weekend is done and I did a little cemeterying today. No major adventured happened, everything went smoothly. Found all the cemeteries I was looking for. And as I always mention, if you see any errors, or want to make comments, please feel free to write so I can fix everything. The first was the Sloan / Ludwick Family Cemetery. I found this one behind a corn field. Today I was in a hurry, so I thought that I would take photos of the stones at this cemetery and read them when I got home, but when I got home and looked at the photos, almost all of the Sloan markes were unreadable. If I remember right, the stones were old, and it will take some time to transcribe them even at the cemetery. Does anyone already have a listing for this cemetery????? I even made a link to this cemetery as I think some people may call it the Ludwick / Sloan Family Cemetery. http://members.citynet.net/rwayne/hampco/sloan.htm Next I came to another Parker Family Cemetery sitting out in the middle of a cow pasture. The cemetery was fenced, so the cows couldn't destroy it. Even an electric fence, I was able to climb the fence without getting zapped. http://members.citynet.net/rwayne/hampco/parker1.htm Then, on the side of the road was a 3 grave cemetery in someones front yard. http://members.citynet.net/rwayne/hampco/wolford1.htm The next one, as behind an old farm house, and very easy to get to. http://members.citynet.net/rwayne/hampco/herriott.htm The final one today, I had to ask directions and found it moments later. This is another one of those cemeteries which I need help on if someone has it. It was getting dark at the time, and I used the flash on the camera, but some of the dates and names didn't turn out all that well. If you have a listing for the people, could you send them. Thanks.. http://members.citynet.net/rwayne/hampco/doman.htm Thanks for everything and all the positive support. One day this cemetery project will be over and I will have to move onto other counties or states. YIKES.
