Randy, The Blue web site I had referred to is the same as has been provided on the list. It's a wonderful site. You'll probably find your Blue's there. The Brackett publication was a self published manuscript that the author gave out to the family. I have seen a copy at the Romney Library. If you don't have access to the Romney library, contact me privately. I have Isaac and Susan (Blue) Parsons's family bible. In the bible, their oldest child is listed as Catherine Elizabeth Parsons, b. 1 May 1837, d. 24 March 1862, buried at Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney, WV. She never married, died of perhaps appendicitis while the family was staying at Capon Springs during the war. The rest of the children listed in the bible are: Isaac Parsons Jr. b. 1 Dec 1838 Sarah Louise Parsons b. 10 Jun 1841 md. Isaac T. Brady James Donaldson Parsons b. 21 Oct 1843 Mary Susan Parsons b. 5 Dec 1847 md. J. A. Pancake Virginia Blue Parsons b. 15 Sep 1849 md. G.S. Arnold Garrett Williams Parsons b. 13 May 1852 Burr Anthony Parsons b. 21 Apr 1855 Edith Parsons b. 1 Jan 1858 md. J.S. Waddle I'm not aware of how your Catherine Parsons who married a Smith fits into this family. I'm *quite* certain that Catherine Elizabeth Parsons never married and that her female siblings married as listed above - but you never know! I'd be very interested in the data you have that supports Isaac and Susan (Blue) Parsons as the parents of your Catherine who married a Smith. This exchange of Parsons data is probably no longer relevant to the Hampshire Co. list, so please contact me privately with your response.
