Hi List: I am searching for any information on the Kent surname in Hampshire County, especially a John and Jesse Kent. Jesse moved to Ross and Pickaway Counties in Ohio in the late 1700s to very early 1800s. Also, an Oakie Jonson was connected to this family. I am trying to learn if these people were related in any way to my Kent family, which came to Pickaway County, Ohio from Virginia around 1831. Any info at all will be much appreciated. Thanks!
