    3. According to the Shanholtzer History and Allied Families by Dr. Wilmer Kerns Mary Shanholtzer, daughter or Peter Shanholtzer, Sr. was born 1782 and died about 1854. Married Oliver saville, son of Joseph and Lydia (Pultz) Saville. Most Savilles in Hampshire Co. descend from them. Peter's father was John Schoenholtzer, II, born March 11, 1748 in Chester County, PA, and died Jan 22, 1824in Vincent Township, Chester Co. A farmer, member of German Reformed Church. Served inRevolutionary War as a soldier in Capt. Barber's Company of Second Battalion of Chester Co. Militia. He did not apply for a pension. He marred Christina, maiden name unknown. The Shanholtzer History has some good material on your ancestors and is well written.
