    3. I don't have William Davis Peters. There is a good book in the Romney (Hampshire Co.) library on Peters. Some of my Starkey's left Hampshire Co. and ended up at Eckart. I was surprised of this. Many of my Sarkey's went to Ohio and if I hadn't met cousins who provide me that information, I wouldn't have believed it. Also surprised they made it to Deer Park. Yet my Friends left Hampshire Co. and ended up in the far western corner of Maryland (Friendsville). 3. Bill, I'd like to know the name of the book also. I'm planning a research trip to that area and I have a Peters ancestor. Thanks, Diane Hill Zimmerman Nancy Lohbrunner wrote: > Bill Pyles: > Do you happen to know the name of the book about the Peters family? > Thank you, > Nancy Lohbrunner > lohbrunner@prodigy.net > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Bill Pyles <bpyles@goldcrest.com> > To: <WVHAMPSH-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Friday, March 31, 2000 1:09 PM > Subject: Re: [WVHAMPSH-L] WARD MCCOLLOUGH INSKEEP ZANE CHEW ELDRIDGE > > > I don't have William Davis Peters. 3. I only wish that I had made a copy of the first page. I have a lot of information dating back to Prodigy days in 1991. I don't remember the book, but might be able to help with some Peters, either the descendants of Broson Peters or others. I just found a paper from M.J. Campbell, 414 Gordon,Liberty, MO 64068, called Peter's Bibliography. It lists many sources of Peters information. The Hampshire Co. book is not mentioned. There is another list from that person called, "Other Peters". These are old Peters Families from across the US. 3. No, I don't off hand. Write or call the Hampshire Co. library. They have a very good genealogy room.
