Just as there were several Evan Hiett's, there were several Jonathan Hiett's, so one has to be careful not to confuse them. The "Jonathan Hiett Cemetery" is that of the son of the first Evan Hiett (24 Oct 1748-22 Jan 1815). It sits on a ridge overlooking North River and is very difficult to get to. This Jonathan (13 Feb 1781-5 Dec 1861) was my gg-grandfather. The Jonathan (5 Apr 1808-16 Sept 1887) you are referring to was his nephew, son of his brother, Jeremiah Hiett. The lines of Evan Hiett's descendants include many Evan's (for him), Sarah's (for his wife), Jeremiah's (for his father-in-law), Jonathan's (for his brother), and a few John's (for his father).
