Howdy, I got an e-mail today from generean, subject: Genealogy Records, go to. It had a virus that Norton could not repair, It caught it but couldn't repair it. Jerry Edwards Looking for Edwards/Chamberlain/Mote/Patty/Hiatt/Hiett
That's the good thing about having Norton...it won't let the incurable virus into your machine. It places it into quarantine, then waits for you to submit it to report it to Norton, or simply delete the virus. At this point with all the messages sent to the unsuspecting members, it is possible for a few to be sent without knowledge. One of the best features I like about Norton is the on line support at www.symantec.com they will find any way possible to correct the problems with a users system. I'm glad to hear yours was safe. Strangely enough, I checked for the message. This computer did not receive it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Edwards" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, August 20, 2002 1:51 PM Subject: [WVHAMPSH-L] Virus > Howdy, > > I got an e-mail today from generean, subject: Genealogy Records, go to.
