Ruth, I have corresponded with Karel White about my "King" Van of VA- as opposed to Maryland Van!! The name Van was used and used and now haunts us! For a while I thought the guy I was after was :Maryland" VAN but 'twas not to be!! I attended St James School in 1948-9 and had fun exploring the very old area - includes several civil war skirmishes! Many thanks for your data tho - it helps a lot!
