Dear Ginny, The marriage bonds in this book only cover the years 1824-1828, unfortunately. However, among the will abstracts included is the will of Elizabeth Lawson's father, Thomas, as follows:: LAWSON, Thomas--9-15-1795; probated 2-15-1796. Wife Hannah, 14 children: 1-William, 2-John, 3-Jacob, 4-Thomas, 5-Mary Johnson, 6-Jane Johnson, 7-Elizabeth Conner, 8-Ann, 9-Hannah McQuillen, 10-Sarah Williams, 11-Peggy, 12-Fanny, youngest dau., 13-James, 14-Catherine. "My 8 daughters." Thomas, John and Fanny are three youngest children. Gr. son, Thomas Cowkick. Land on S. Branch and Pattersons Creek. Exec., John Newman, John Taylor, Jr. Wit., Richard Whiteman and James McQuillen. If you are interested in Thomas Lawson, let me know--there are a few more useful mentions of him in this book and a couple of others. But unfortunately no Conners anywhere.... Best wishes, Martha Grenzeback graymatters@ibm.net At 07:28 PM 01-05-2000 -0400, you wrote: >In a message dated 05/01/2000 1:16:15 PM Pacific Daylight Time, >graymatters@ibm.net writes: > ><< Sage & Jones (Early Records, Hampshire Co.) >> >Martha: Would you be so kind as to look in the above book for a marriage >record of Patrick CONNER and Elizabeth LAWSON?
