HI Karen, you bet I've been researching the STEINBECKS in and around Baltimore,Md and VA(W) for over 40 years! I have hit a brick wall with Frederick Stinebeck (on census) Steinbeck and wife Sarah (Sally) Eckert .. Have much on Frederick's & Sarah's family line. I've several documents on Anna Dorothea and believe that JOhn C may be a brother or father of my Frederick... Frederick had a brother DAniel who lived in Baltimore but moved to Cape Girardeau, MO. They were in the fur business..lived on FAyette street (I'm doing this from memory right now)... There was a JOhn G. (George?) who died in Baltimore and my ggg grandpa Frederick d in Romney in 1823. How do you connect..Anxious to hear back.
