I need some help breaking down my brick wall. My husband's grandmother, Nancy ARNOLD, born about 1881-1882 married Isaac Newton ("Newt") LILLER, probably about 1903-1905. Newt's branch of the Liller family were from the Purgitsville area and family lore has it that Nancy Catherine Arnold was from the Romney area. Is there anyone out there who knows who Nancy's parents were? On a trip to Romney a couple years ago we found a birth certificate for a Nancy Catherine ARNOLD who was born in 1881 to Robert ARNOLD and Maggie "Unknown," with the information given by John ARNOLD, uncle. This is the only birth certificate we've been able to find for a Nancy Arnold but we're not sure if it's her. I haven't been able to find any information on the family of a Robert ARNOLD in that area of Hampshire County. The only place I haven't looked is the 1870/80 census. Is there anyone out there who can help me on this? Mary Liller
