After looking again at the Capper family tombstones and paper files/notes of the Timber Ridge Christian Church Cemetery at High View, WV, this is what the actual tombstones say for C. Capper (who is actually Catherine McVicker Capper instead of Charles Capper as is currently shown on the Hampshire Co. Cemeteries website). There is not a year of birth given for C. Capper, just a date of death and age at death. The following includes some Capper family members not shown on the website who have tombstones: TIMBER RIDGE CHRISTIAN CHURCH CEMETERY, HIGH VIEW, WEST VIRGINIA C. Capper Died Sep 9, 1831, Aged 44 Years Mahlon R. Capper September 24, 1859 - October 7, 1863 Jonathan Capper Dec 28, 1813 - Jan 4, 1885 Elizabeth Capper July 16th, 1810 - Nov 15, 1872, Aged 62 yrs and 4 mo Asa Hiett Capper Oct 3, 1850 - Oct 18, 1873, Aged 23 years & 15 Days. Mary S. Capper 1845 - 1913 Malvina X. Capper 1847 - 1927 ****** It appears that the notations about "wife of" or "son of " or "daughter of" next to the names of the interred at Timber Ridge Christian Church Cemetery on the website were made by an author of a book, or ?? , and that these notations are not necessarily inscribed on the tombstones. (Some may be but some are clearly not, and I don't know which is the case for each name on the website for persons buried at Timber Ridge.) There are many Capper family ancestors buried at MOUNT HEBRON CEMETERY, in Winchester, Virginia. The CAPPER family cemetery is just six feet inside the Frederick County, Virginia line which borders Hampshire County, WV. There are several tombstones which have been replaced in the past year there and a new fence built to keep the cattle out of the cemetery area. I realize that these two cemeteries (Mount Hebron and the Capper Cemetery) will have to be included with any new updates for Frederick County, Virginia cemeteries at some time down the road and are not relevant for the Hampshire County, WV cemetery surveys, however since the Capper cemetery is so close to the Hampshire Co. lines, thought I would mention it.
