Please bare with me folks but someone has to be connected to these folks. James White and family on the 1840 census and Elizabeth as head of household was on the 1850 with William and Lucinda Robinson with her. I don't have a clue where to go from here. James White m. Elizabeth Robinson 9 October 1834 Children of this union are: Isaac b. 1836 Sarah C. b. 1837 Mary E. b. 1839 Luke b. 1841 Virginia b. 1843 James died approx. 1846 and I can't find that information as to where buried or a death book if there was such a thing. I know Isaac was in Ohio 1860 but I don't know yet if his Mom and others went with him. Thanks for listening to this story again but I am hoping someone new may have a clue or someone may can tell me where to look. Thelma Tomlinson Michigan

I think there may be an error in the data--- for Daughter--Rebecca Swearingen---think it should read-died 1 Dec 1797 Cumberland, Allegany Co. MD. I know of no Cumberland Co. in MD. SWEARINGENS also CRESAPS were here in Allegany Co., MD. by 1789 when Allegany County was formed from Washington Co. MD. (Hagerstown, MD. area) I have been following these Lines---on look-out for any mention of Hamphire Co.--PARKER family. I found my PARKER family here in Allegany Co. MD. by 1783 (then still Washington Co. MD) on Tax List. I am wondering if they are not extension of Hampshire Co. PARKER families. Thought perhaps clearing up the County issue---may assist in finding correct area for research for Swearingens--Cresaps. I am researching the possibility that WILLIAM D. PARKER married DRUCILLA TOMLINSON. There was listed in 1870 Census of Allegany Co. MD.--William Parker age 73 (b. 1797) & wife Drucilla were living in Frostburg, Allegany Co, MD. Dear Patti, Thanks so much for taking the time to do the census and thanks to Gary and Kaye also. I realized looking at it why 3 McDonald brothers married into the Pownall family. They were next door neighbors. James and Rebecca's only daughter's name is a hard one. My cousin said it was Sarah and I wonder if it was Celia. Her grandmother was Priscilla and I always wonder if it was a nickname. June goes by what an older family member told her. Esther
