I am looking for any information on the Peters and Ashby's in Woodford County, KY. I have seen a Judge Belvard Peters........is there a complete Genealogy on this family back to Fort Ashby in WV and Fauquier County, VA. I have seen an Augusta Peters on Rootsweb that married 1st a James Inskeep and 2nd a Coleman Younger. Augusta was born in Woodford County, KY. Does Anyone know her ancestry? I know that here sister Mary Peters married Martin Ringo(parents of John Peters Ringo). I know there were Peters connected with the Ashby's in Woodford County, KY.....were there other Peters??? I may not be a member of some of the lists....so please copy me in at [email protected] John Peters Valatie, NY

I found this cemetery on Wayne's list. Does anyone live close enough to look for a marker for me? I live in Indiana. Long Cemetery: Located 1.9 miles South of Springfield to Rt.28 to Rt.28/5, then East 1 mile to Rt.28/5, the cemetery is 120 feet North of the highway. I'm looking for a Cornelius Long, died after 1803, but I don't know when for sure. Thanks. Diane Long
If you do a google.com search on the name Cornelius Long (aka Cornelius R. Long) and the words Hampshire County, you may find something of interest. :-) [email protected] wrote: I found this cemetery on Wayne's list. Kathy, People have asked for more photos, but I'm limited by space on the internets website that I work with, it is free as long as I keep the size down. In my travels, I do take photos of most of the stone/markers, as well as interesting things along the way, donkeys, old houses, snakes and cows. Have a good one. Wayne thanks for all the hard work. I appreciate what you are doing and it helps when you live 500 miles away and can't walk the cemeteries in person. Wayne, Great job on Mt. Zion. Glad to get it when you are 960 miles away. You took on a big project. I helped inventory the Fort Ashby Cemetery. Howdy Folks, Thanks for all the help on Jumping Branch. I got a couple of deeds, indentures from Martha. On Anthony Edwards, I've got two different spellings on his mom's maiden name. It's written in the deeds but I can't make it I think it spells her maiden name as Kisner, Martha. In our tree it has Keener and in a couple of books they've got both. I was wondering if anyone is going that way, if they could look up the docs and see if they could read the name?
