    2. Hi Wayne, I was telling my dad about the Long Cemetery. He said it was located along the road that goes down to French's Station. Bob Long used to live down there, but he said if you go to his old farm, you have gone too far. He also said that Joe Coleman may know how to tell you to get there. I hope this helps. Linda

    3. That is very nice of you to offer your services. Also, I thought it was very well written. You are great! I would like to just meet you. There are few Robert Wayne's around. Cemetery Project Greetings one and all, I would like to personally thank everyone for all the nice emails and letters that I have received in the past week or so. Thanks for the support on this project in looking for the cemeteries. Thanks everyone for the time that you have put in to help me find these hard to find family cemeteries. In the next year and a half this project will be completed, maybe, and I could do it without your support. So for the help you all have been giving, just remember when you do come to the Hampshire County area, you do have an open invitation to give me a call and I will take you around the county to find the cemetery or cemeteries that you wish to find. As long as I have found it, or you know good directions to find it, lets go. Normally I'm free Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Just call. Have a good night. 3. Greetings one and all. Today I headed out with good intentions on finding the LONG Family Cemetery in Springfield. I have promised people that I would locate it the next time I got to that area. My website shows that the LONG Cemetery is in the Springfield area, but I couldn't find it. I have looked in several books, but can't locate it. I found the Old Long Farm, I found Long Rd., but no cemetery. I talked with people along the road, but no one knows of the cemetery. This will take some time, but I will find it. Then I tried to locate the Graveyard Hollow Cemetery also in the Springfield area, drove around a bit, bumpy dirty road, but I couldn't find it. I did manage to find the Kuykendall-Blue Cemetery. This cemetery had a 3 foot or so stone fence around it with a iron gate. The cemetery is need of repair. Several stones have been knocked down or have fallen down, but need to be fixed. A couple pieces of the markers are outside the stone fence. There is no trash in the cemetery, but appears the damage may be caused from hunters using the wall as a blind for hunting deer, maybe. http://members.citynet.net/rwayne/hampco/kuykend1.htm KUYKENDALL Family Cemetery. Have a good night, and happy trails. I will try and get out tomorrow to try and find the LONG Cemetery again, maybe, if it doesn't rain again. 2. Morning Wayne & everyone else, We just moved into our new home YEAH!! but the unpacking & tryin to figure out where I want everythang is a pain. Wayne when we go to W VA we took our boys the first time & we were all running thur the Cem @ 8pm at nite they had a blast looking for any Largent's they could find. On this last trip they stayed with My parents in NC & we would call & let them know what we had found & were doing, Expecially when we found The Largent/Powell, They were so upset that they stayed with Gramma & Grampa & missed all the adventures we had, They informed us that they will go with us from now on. So take your son out & let him help navagate & maybe just maybe he will get excited & want to do more. Hope everyone is in good heath & getting ready for a cold Winter. Greetings from Tallahassee FL The Largent's

    3. Greetings one and all. I will be going out later today to see what I can find. This weekend we are suppose to have nasty weather, and I doubt I will be able to get out. My boy will be in town starting next Wednesday for 2 weeks, so I will be busy with him. I know that he won't share the interest that I have in finding cemeteries, but maybe I can get him out at least one day to help me find a hard one. We will do that bonding thing. So how is everything going? Linda says, HI. I didn't know Lillie was a dwarf though...that's interesting. They definitely are the family I have been looking for! Thanks again, Becky
