Pages 1-13 introduction, 14-106 are entries from January 1,1863 to October 27,1867 and one entry dated April 5,1901. Most of the entries are war period entries. There are not entries for every day, but they are fairly regular. Photos include a late in life photo of the author and a modern view of her home. There is no index for the diary. Sirene Bunton lived in Upshur County, West Virginia during the war and some of the entries are quite interesting! Three of her brothers served in the Union Army (2 in the 3rd WV Infantry). Some mentions of the Jones Imboden Raid of 1863 and the Witcher Raid of 1864. Book has paper covers and is glued together at the spine. Buyer will pay actual shipping cost. Money order or check ok.
