Hi Va, and Listers, Are you totally confused now about the Vances and the Carts? It all hinges now on whether I can figure out who William Cart who married a Heppenheimer, is connected to. What I need to figure out is could he be the brother of Adam, who several of us have as the father of Conrad Cart. I have finally decided that the best thing to do, is report the lines as I get them, from the Ancestry of KVGS book, and John Hoff, who is related etc. Melinda also has a line which seems to follow the general lines found in the KVGS book. I am not sure what to do with the information on the William and Heppenheimer Cart, which Marcia sent. I think that is a separate Conrad Cart. I don't have any information about accessing records from the Greenbrier Archives or anything. That might be something that Valerie or some more knowlegable researcher would know, so am posting this to the list. Please listers see the query below. I haven't come across Griders or any similar type name that I know of yet. Will keep you in mind if I do.
