Hello Joe and Listers, I appreciate the extra information, which I did not have on this couple. Wanted you to know that I checked several resources including, the copies of the McClung Book that I have. [I don't have the whole thing, just the index and Greenbrier and Rockbridge Co. related stuff.] I also have copies of the Greenbrier Heritage 1997. I did not find anything in the pages that I have, but there are about 30 pages that are supposed to have the Smith name on them. So, I may have missed something. I also checked the McClung Journals and index. I did find the reference in the McClung book, about Sarah Jane McClung and her marriage to James Smith, in 1847. That is all I found. Hopefully someone else on the Greenbrier or McClung lists can add to this. While I am at it, I found Abigail Cavendish m. Carroll McClung. Does anyone know the parents of Abigail, or how she relates to Lord Cavendish? Thanks for your help, Joe.
