    1. [WVGREENB-L] Brickwalls: where are they buried?: Addison NICELY (1850-AFT 1910)
    2. Does anyone know of a cemetery near Friar's Hill that is not listed in the Falling Spring District cemetery book? I am anxious to find where my ancestor, Addison NICELY (1850-AFT 1910), is buried. Based on an interview with one of his granddaughter's who was still alive a few years ago, Addison was buried at Unus. In a follow-up interview, she said he was buried at Friar's Hill. I have searched some cemeteries in the Friar's Hill area, but with no success. I have not been able to find his death record at the Grbr C.H., but I have also been told he lived on Butler Mountain. Based on census data, he must have died after 1910. I can document him in the census as follows: 1860 Greenbrier Co., VA (now WVa) census, age "7", w/ father St. Clair NICELY. 1870 Greenbrier Co., WVa census, age "18", w/ father St. Clair NICELY. 1880 Greenbrier Co., WVa census, age "27", as head of household. 1890 WVa census, NOTE: n/a. 1900 Greenbrier Co., WVa census, born "Oct 1849", as head of household. 1910 Greenbrier Co., WVa census, age "56", as head of household. 1920 Greenbrier Co., WVa census: not listed. If this is familiar to anyone, or if anyone has documented a cemetery in the Friar's Hill area where Addison NICELY (1850-AFT 1910) is buried, please let me know. Thanks in advance. :-) -----signature----- Joe Clinebell Apex, North Carolina
