Recently I saw a query concerning whether Susannah Sizemore who married William Walker, was of Indian Descent. Quoting information sent to Ginny Anderson, by Kent E. Kroehler, Susannah was the dau. of Hirum Sizemore and Virginia Elizabeth Jane Dinkous/Elizabeth Jane Dinkous/Dinkins. Elizabeth is reported to have been a Cherokee Indian from Tenn. I believe her brother Jesse John Sizemore also married into the Greenbrier area lines, that we research. He married Nancy J. Walker, who was the dau. of J. Milton Walker and Martha Jane Moore. [Anyone have parents for Martha Jane Moore?] J. Milton Walker's parents were James A. Walker and Nancy Legg. Nancy was the dau. of Susannah Vincent, and William Legg of Greenbrier Co. VA. William Walker who m. Susannah Sizemore, was also the son of James A. Walker and Nancy Legg. Now here is the hard question: Who were James A. Walker's parents? I have Elverton P. Walker. Previous research shows that James's mom was Margaret McGeehee. But I hear that James A. Walker's death certificate identifys his mother as Susan [Bailes?]. Does anyone have documentation about Elverton P. Walker and his wives and children? Thanks for the help. Of course, I will gladly share, what I have.
