    1. [WVGREENB-L] Point Pleasant Battle
    2. Does anyone have any information on this battle? I was told there was a Richard Wilson who fought in it. I have been trying for years to find the parents of Richard D. Wilson, Jr., b. abt. 1785 (not sure of his birthplace) d. abt. 1851 in Harlan Co., KY. He m. Mary Ruth Green Dec. 15, 1806 in Knox Co, KY. I was told by other family genealogist that his father was also named Richard and he never left VA. (Found out that the part of VA his father never left is now Greenbrier WV.) But, I can find no proof anywhere that the Richard Wilson they claim to be Richard D Wilson's parents even had a son named Richard. I spoke to Dorsey Wilson by phone this morning and he said there was another Richard Wilson that fought in the Point Pleasant Battle. Does anyone have any info on this Richard Wilson? Thanks Gail
