Hello Keith and Listers, While I waited in the jury lounge, I was able to do some research, so it wasn't a complete waste of time. I believe the question that you are asking Keith, is whether Carrie Dean's mother was Margaret or Sarah Sammons [Dean]. I have checked the pages that I have in the Heritage book, for Sammons and Dean etc. Could not verify that. Perhaps some of the Listers may know the answer. I can say that I have noticed other discrepancies in the information in that book, just as in the research materials that we find in other places. We probably need to take this book, with some degree of skepticism as we do our other documents and research materials. On pp 131, I wrote it as it is written in the information, which was contributed by Carlos Hefner and family. So, perhaps the contributor was confused, if you think the information is incorrect. I left the messages at the bottom of this message, so that anyone who does not know what the information exchange was before, can catch up with us. I did notice Dean info on pp 25, 92,103,131,159,164,183. I apparently only have pp 131. Perhaps someone else who has the book can look and see if there is more about a Sammons woman marrying John B.
