Hello to all on the list, As being the newest member just now to your list, I hope I can be successful at my research and at the same time help any and all that I possibly can. I live in Michigan and if I can help in any search in this area please contact me. I am currently at a stand-still in my research of my family line, the RALSTON's. According to all the official documents I have found, my ggg-grandfather, JOHN RALSTON, was from the original Greenbrier County before it came over to the W.Va side. In his pension application from the Revolutionary War, it shows him as enlisting from Greenbrier Co. Virginia and after his service, moving back there. He enlisted in 1778. I have been unable to locate any further information and would be grateful to anyone for any information concerning the Ralston line. Many thanks ahead, Jim in Michigan
