Joyce, I have an Elihu Ellis (b. ca 1799) m. Elizabeth See (b. ca 1793 in Greenbrier Co, d/o John and Margaret Jarrett See. They went to Indiana ca 1820s with extended See family. Elihu shows up a couple of Indiana Census records and I think dies in Grant Co. Haven't confirmed any of this. Does this fit in with any of your VA Ellis family?
