Walker. In case you were confused, here is some additional info that you might be interested in. Joyce in Ca. Walker being the son of Jackson Walker and Charlotte Nichols to be an error and the information that William L. Walker was a son of Milton Walker and Martha J. Moore to be correct. The following is the listing of the family of Jackson Walker in the 1850 Nicholas County census: Jackson Walker 32 Charlotte Walker 28 Lewis Walker 8 Sarah Walker 5 James Walker 3 Catharine Walker 4 mo. Apparently the submitter whop asserted that William L. Walker was the son of Jackson and Charlotte erroneously assumed that Lewis Walker was the William L. Walker. Lewis Walker was Lewis W. Walker but he married Christina Williams 05 February 1863 at Nicholas County and was listed with her in the 1870 and 1880 Nicholas County census. I hope you locate the submitter so the information in their file can be corrected.
