Hi, I'm new to list and am looking for any trace of Norman McLeod, who I believe had just immigrated from Scotland, may have married in VA (to Nancy UNK). He turns up in Ohio in 1800 (in what later becomes Gallia county, living mostly in Perry twp). I have some history on him and a lot on his descendants if anyone is interested. I'm thinking of taking a trip to Charleston, W.VA. - do they have pre-1800 records there? Any suggestions of where I might search would be wonderful. Thanks so much.
