    3. Was James O. HOBBS living in Greenbrier in 1840? Was his business in Greenbrier or in Covington? I know he had a business in Covington (Hobbs and Payne) and that he was the postmaster of Westview in Augusta County until his death in 1861. I also know that he lost three of his children to one of the dread diseases of the day and that one of his sons, James Olin HOBBS was a war hero, while another, John Jerome HOBBS was Clerk Of the Court of Allegheny County for years, and also took in orphaned children. Do you have the given names names of the infant children of Andrew SCOTT? Bill Hobbs VivHy@aol.com wrote: > Where do I start..? How about...Greenbrier County, 18-Dec-1840.
