I wonder if this took place in an adjacent county or something. Helen Stinson's index is pretty complete. Under the last name in the index for either Walkup or Hanna, I cannot find any Elizabeths, Almiras or Valentines. As I previously mentioned, there was only one John Hanna mentioned in the correct time period, and it had something to do with something other than adoptions. I don't think the book on Court Orders is going to help you.
