Am searching for wedding information on a "Dosky" Holstein. She is found in David Anderson Turner's annotated Census of 1900 Boone County, WV in the following household: Sherman District #214 David HOLSTEIN 55 Rebecca E. 49 wife Virginia 27 daughter George T. 20 son Silas 18 son Quincy A. 14 son Dosky 1 granddaughter Dosky/Doskie Holstein was the daughter of Virginia "Jenny" Holstein. Father, at present, is unknown. Virginia "Jenny" Holstein married Linville Garrison "Tom" Stover in Boone County on 8 November 1902 in Boone County, WV. "Tom" Stover & "Jenny" Holstein had two children -- Gladys M. Stover & Sadie Alice Stover -- before "Jenny" died on 26 March 1911 in McKenfree, Fayette County, WV. According to the obit of Sadie Alice Stover Peters, who died in February of 1963, "Doskie" Kirk was a surviving sister, living at the time in Williamsburg, Greenbrier County, WV. Does anyone know which of the Kirk gentlemen that Dosky/Doskie Holstein married? Oral legend tells me that Dosky/Doskie/Dasky went by the nickname of "Dot." Thank you in advance for any information & guidance. As always, I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Mike Peters npeters102@aol.com
