    3. George See is in my family tree too. According to my disk, Geneological Records: Early West Virginia Settlers, 1600-1900's, Joseph appears on the 1782-1784 Hardy County Census, as does Susannah and for her it says "gone in 84". It shows his estate settlement was 06/01/1840. Joseph enlisted in the Revolution in 1781 and served six months under Captain James Cunningham of the VA troops. Applied for Pension 12/25/1833, cert issued February 28, 1834. Born Richmond County VA 1757, died June 23, 1837. Married Margaret Arnold 12/28/1784 Matthew George: Will for Hampshire County - 12-7-1781 Wife Susannah Ch. 4 plus 1. James, 2. King, 3. George, 4. Matthew; "rest of my children". Exec. George See. George Stump, and with sec Sam Dew and Joseph Neville Land on South Branch Fork. Nothing for Hannah or John Jackman. I would like to hear more about your Sees as they married into my Morris family.
