Brenda: When you make a request for information, you might want to include some dates, such as the date of death of ________ Morrow. I have a book "Greenbrier County Deeds & Wills 1750-1833" and there are a number of listings in the index for the surname of MORROW. I simply do not have the time to look up each one and read who left who what. This is just a suggestion and it might assist you in getting the information you seek. My 3rd great grandfather was Memucan Walker (1764 - 1836) who married Rachel Lewis, was a Rev. War vet, one of the first school teachers in Greenbrier Co. and died there in 1836. He was born in Lunenburg Co. VA, lived in SC., married once in MD and perhaps an earlier marriage before that. His son Joel and several grandsons, among them Sylvanus, Benjamin, Joel McPherson "Mack", and my ggf William Washington Walker, moved to the Braxton, Nicholas, Clay area around Keeners Ridge, Strange Creek, Dille (all very close, just where the counties join) about 1870. A recent DNA testing showed that we have a common ancester with several other Walker families that takes the line back to the 1600s in VA. Have been looking for a will, burial place, or any other information on Memucan Walker. Do you have any suggestions? Would appreciate any help. The Walker Reunion is at Summersville on the 2nd Sunday in August. Everyone welcome.
