It is an online book that focuses on the American Indian component of Melungeons. Nine authors, including myself, contributed articles to the book. A few of the articles you may have seen, but many others you have not. Some of the people who contributed to the work: Jack, Cindy, Helen. Others you may not know like Mr. Pollard who shares an article of his visit to Melungeons as an anthropologist. Linda shared a great article about the Eastern Blackfoot Indians, and there are others. This book is being made available to you online for free. I do have a request for donations to historical projects in Vardy in the front of the book for those who can and are willing to contribute. I don't mind telling you a lot of time and energy went into this little book. The project began for me nearly 2 years ago. I hope the book will help to shed some light on one aspect of our Melungeon heritage. Sincerely, Karlton Douglas American Indian Melungeon: http://www.angelfire.com/tn3/youngeagle/AMERICAN_INDIANbook.htm ==== MELUNGEON-KIN Mailing List ==== Anyone causing any type of problems on this list will be warned once then unsubbed at the list owner's discretion. ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 --part1_182.ba1d009.2a72a46a_boundary--
