The family lived in Greenbrier, Fayette and Summers Counties, VA (now WV). Mary Elizabeth TERRY was b. 16 Nov 1819 and d. 2 Jun 1897. Can anyone share with me who her parents are? Hi all, Just a note for anyone who is connected in any way to the Arnold & Mary (Runyon) Ford family (previously of Rockingham County) and their descendents through their son John Ford and his wife Mary ("Polly") Copenhaver and their 10 children: Yesterday, I finally added a page for this family to my Runyon genealogy website at: http://www.norman.runyon.com To find the Fords on this site first click on the "John Runyon" link on page 1 and then on the Mary (Runyon) Ford link on page 2. I have been steadily working on this family for about 10 months and, thanks to the wonderful West Virginia information available on ancestry.com plus the information available on the State of West Virgina Vital Records site plus extensive input from several cousins, I have come up with about 3000 descendents of this family so far. Since I know that 3000 is only a fraction of the total descendents, I would love for anyone working on this family to contact me for the purpose of exchanging information.
