Hello All, As someone who has hosted web pages for genealogical societies, historical societies, and the even DAR since '97 - I feel we shouldn't personally censor any web pages that are on the WWW. Our purpose and goal as volunteers (if I remember correctly), is to help any and all family researchers around the counties that we host. Surely we all have links to societies who sell books, or organizations who have charges for services whether it's a minimal charge for tombstone photos or copies of look-ups. So $ clearly isn't the reason. May I make this suggestion to add this at the bottom of ALL your "index" page or any pages with links off site: "Links to external web sites are being provided as a convenience and for informational purposes only; they do not constitute an endorsement or approval of any of the products, services or opinions contained in any external web site." It has served many organizations which I have belonged and proudly served. It's also visually acceptable and legal. Otherwise, we start sounding like little dictators on the web. Remember - we are volunteers - helping others. Julia A. Krutilla °´°*ø,¸¸,ø*°´°*ø,¸¸,ø*°´°*ø,¸¸,ø*°´°*ø,¸¸,ø*°´°*ø,¸¸,ø*°´°*ø URLs: Julia A.
