I would appreciate some advice on handling this issue. An individual continues to insist that I place the URL to her "family site" on one of my county Family Links pages. Yes, the ancestor in question was a county resident, however, she's selling a book and a newsletter on her site. There is no genealogical information about the ancestor nor his descendants offered in any form other than for sale. I do not feel obligated to post a URL to a site that does not offer info other than the predecessor's name, date of birth and where to purchase the book/newsletter. IMHO, the content of your pages is strictly a matter of your own judgment. I tend to agree with you. If you have a "Books" page, that's where the link belongs. Freddie S.
