    3. Hi all WV county coordinators, I love that our state is one of the first states to start making older "vital research records" (birth, death, and marriage records) available for genealogy researchers through the West Virginia Division of Culture and History. http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_select.aspx They don't have birth and marriage records available yet for my county, but they do have death records for all counties (with limited years). While going through the death records doing my own research, I wondered if we should just link to the site from our WVGenWeb counties, or go the extra step and start adding links to individual names on our existing web-pages such as cemetery lists. Soooo, I thought I'd try doing several cemetery lists to see if this would be an extra benefit to our researchers. I've added links on the following two cemetery lists so far: http://www.pa-roots.org/~marion/cemetery/ammons.html http://www.pa-roots.org/~marion/cemetery/icecemetery.html Some of the names don't quite match up like when a nickname was used on one or the other, so I've been checking birthdates and other data on the certificates to make sure I'm matching the correct certificate to the name. Let me know if you feel this will be an added benefit for our West Virginia researchers. Connie Burkett Marion, WVGenWeb
